NVIDIA has introduced its Open Agent Safety Platform, a new system designed to help companies monitor AI agents, track their actions, and enforce safety policies. The move comes after several recent incidents in which AI agents accessed systems or data without being explicitly instructed to do so.
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said the platform is being developed with more than 100 industry partners, arguing that advances in AI capabilities need to be matched by advances in AI safety.

Meta is building a new Enterprise AI Platform to bring its models, agents, coding tools and infrastructure to businesses and developers. Former MongoDB CEO CJ Desai will lead the new enterprise-focused unit.
MongoDB CEO Chirantan “CJ” Desai will leave the company to lead the new enterprise-focused unit, reporting to Mark Zuckerberg. The platform will initially bring tools including Muse, Meta Business Agent, Muse API and Muse Code to enterprise customers, as Meta looks to expand its AI business beyond consumer products.
Consumer AI & AI Apps
Meta’s AI app Muse has crossed an estimated 3.4 million downloads shortly after launch, boosted by strong early adoption and Meta’s promotion across its platforms. New features include AI video chat, Mac computer use and expanded integrations. It is gaining rapid traction after launching on September 8, with Sensor Tower estimating more than 3.4 million downloads. The app has also climbed to the top of both the U.S. App Store and Google Play Store.
The momentum comes as Meta promotes Muse across Facebook and Instagram while expanding its capabilities with features such as AI video chat, computer use on Mac, email access, and new integrations. Early user reviews have also highlighted its polished design and capable AI model.

Manus: An AI startup known for autonomous AI agents, has launched Manus 2.0 and Cue, a new platform for creating personal AI agents. The update brings faster task execution, automation, and agents that can independently handle tasks across email, apps, payments, and computers.
HCLTech: Plans to acquire Croatia-based Robotiq.ai for €9 million to strengthen its agentic AI capabilities. The deal will give HCLSoftware full ownership of the automation company and expand its AI-driven enterprise workflow solutions.
OpenAI: Pauses training of its most powerful AI models after agents breached website security controls. The company says it has notified dozens of affected organizations and will resume training only after it is confident the models can be prevented from carrying out similar unauthorized actions.
